the good
-cooking food from scratch
-getting back to my running routine
-speaking truths i've been holding back
-doing things that involve being brave (like going on dates)
-taking a class that I think will push me further as a photographer
-another art show coming in february
-little green buds poking through dark soil
the rough
-working 50 hour weeks, 40 of those being night shifts....aka feeling like a zombie
-finding out that ladybug does have the same genetic condition that elliot did. we've found it much earlier than with him of course, so with some efforts we should still have plenty of good times together ahead. trying to keep positive!

so sorry about ladybug. i hope you have many years with her. i remember when i first learned that atlas had a heart murmur. i took him to a heart specialist because i thought more information would help me. she said, "he could compensate for years, or he could worsen rapidly." i decided that sometimes, ignorance really might be more blissful.

I have to be repetitive and say that you do. look. adorable. and happy. glad to see that your good list is twice as long as the rough. keep on keeping on. you're on the right path and from what I know of you, I'd venture to say that MANY good things will come your way. you deserve it. take care and hope our paths cross again sometime soon.
